Please, how do I add a person not linked to my tree?

Literally, by using the Add feature at the top right-hand corner of the screen next to My WikiTree.  Just scroll down to New Person.  I had trouble finding it the first time, myself.

Click on the Add menu at the top of the screen and select "New person"
