What sort of information are you looking for Rita? Current families? Living descendants?

Do you have a specific family or profile you are working on?
There are almost 50,000 Wilson profiles on WikiTree so far.  I went to the Wilson Genealogy index and sorted by date.  At https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Surname&s=WILSON&limit=1000&start=15000&cln=0&order=dobup&secondary_order=&layout=comfortable&u= it starts about the year 1850 and on that page, I used a Control F search for Canada and had 48 hits.  It is helpful when people include States or Provinces, and Countries, when creating profiles.

The Wilson's that I know about in Ontario started with Leonard in Orillia, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. He married Hester Ann Gill my great great grandparents daughter. Leonard and Hester Ann were buried at Orillia, Simcoe, Canada in the late 1800's. They had a large family of 12, six sons and six daughters. .

Do you have the names of your Wilson's and their birth, marriage and death years.

There's an Isabella Wilson who died in Glencoe in 1907 (husband Daniel), and a Flossie May born there in 1898 (parents Thomas and Mary), but as Christine and Frank have suggested, we need a little more information before we can help.

"Ontario Deaths, 1869-1937 and Overseas Deaths, 1939-1947," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JD2R-VYW : 9 March 2018), Isabella Wilson, 19 Aug 1907; citing Glencoe, Middlesex, Ontario, yr 1907 cn 18646, Archives of Ontario, Toronto; FHL microfilm 1,854,462.

"Canada Births and Baptisms, 1661-1959," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FL3Q-YK3 : 10 February 2018), Flossie May Wilson, 29 Aug 1898; citing Glencoe, Middlesex, Ontario, 29 Aug 1898, reference 200; FHL microfilm 2,021,632.

The only information I have is: Rebekah Wilson, B. 1849 and married Andrew Gardiner, Glencoe, Canada. Some of them moved to Chicago and then my Great Grandmother, their daughter, moved to Alabama. I also remember visiting two Great aunts that lived in Windsor, Canada.

Here's her FindAGrave memorial: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/95546438/rebecca-gardiner (You'll notice that her DOB is about 20 years earlier than what you have in your family records, so it's not surprising that she's been difficult to find!)

And here she is on the 1881 Census:

"Canada Census, 1881," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MVDV-BBW : 11 March 2018), Rebecca Gardiner, Glencoe, Middlesex West, Ontario, Canada; citing p. 26; Library and Archives Canada film number C-13269, Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa, Ontario; FHL microfilm 1,375,905.

Family Search has about seven entries for her. Have fun writing up her profile!

Thank you so much!!!
