The photo of her on her profile page shows her as an older white-haired lady. Both photos reflect a serene woman who lived her life well. Thanks for posting this- I'm off to a quest to gather more information about this "unsung hero."

I just found two letters in public domain from her to her father that I've added. Would love this to be a much more robust profile! <3

 

I'm also working on adding the various Residences, etc. from the census records so it reads more like a biography. Right now a lot of those details are lost in the sources at the bottom of the page.

Eldest daughter of Frederick Douglass, who knew? Definitely a life full of meaning.
