You will find you get more and better quality responses (if an answer can be found) if you include a little more detail for example more details about Amelia Messier, such as when and where she is known to have lived, and any known family (spouses, children)
The best way to do that is to create a profile for the individual, ensuring the privacy settings are such that other people can view the profile, and then putting the profile-id into the box on the question screen - you can of course just provide the details as well.
For example there is an Amelia Messier, age 78 that lived in Bagot, Quebec in 1911 with her husband Thomas - If this is the right person, then someone might be able to help trace her back.
