I have a William Bassett III who married Rachel Williston. They had a daughter Mary Bassett born Oct 20, 1676 at Sandwich, Barnstable Co, MA.

I know that my great grandfather, Thomas Tudor McKay Lewis Williston was one of several (10-12) children. I know the parents names but that is it. Rachel would have been either the niece or the cousin of Thomas. Rachel was then either born in Lowell, MA or Baie Du Vin, Northuberland, Canada. I think you should try Lowell, MA. And I think that you will find that her parents are my great great grandparents or a great uncle of mine. My 2x grt grandparents are Robert Albert Williston, Lord de Velville and Margaret McKay Lewis - Williston, Lady de Velville.
