Found this old postcard in my grandmother's files.  Not sure how we're related . . .  if we are, but this photo was too good not to share with the community.  Maybe her family will find it.  Lauren Emeline (Winn) McKenzie (1848-1929)with granddaughter Geneva Upham (1913-1980). Location: Texas. Date: 1920.

One of the greatest gifts of Wikitree is that our ancestors will see the pictures we post.

You have posted an awesome picture.

Just how cute is the granddaughter with the fur collar and muffin? Little plaid outfit underneath.

And then the grandmother with her. The granddaughter has her arm wrapped up around her and it almost looks like up to her neck.

Grandma doesn't look too happy, but who knows. They didn't smile very much in these pictures.

Great picture for us to see, and wonderful picture for your ancestors to be able to see.
