Edit: There seems to have been a Mary (Polly) Bowling/Bolling born ca 1800 in Virginia but she didn't marry a Coombs.

Yes, there were several Mary (Polly Bolling) born in Virginia around 1800.  You can find them in Buckingham Co. Va  - all in the Robert Bolling Family. Mostly connected to Chellowe.
