PGM Member needed, preferably one doesn't have access to Great Migration Series. George Carr needs help

The profile for George Carr is in need of help. It needs a do over and a nice accurate biography in our words not Andersons. Someone attached the Great Migration pages so this is a good opportunity for someone without access to work an Anderson profile. The pages will need to be deleted (copyright) but I think we can write a proper profile using them first and then delete.

Any help and guidance you need, someone is available, me probably.

This is a great chance to show what you can do. Read, digest, rewrite.

I will take a stab at it Anne if no one else is working on it. If so, be happy to work on another.

Yes please Doris. Go for it.
It doesn't look like Doris ever got to it.  The Anderson image is gone, but the bio still needs work.

The copyrighted images should be deleted immediately. I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure posting copyrighted material is bad for wikitree, both from a legal standpoint, and for its reputation. Delaying the deletion of that material isn't justified by reason of convenience, and IMHO shouldn't appear to be wikitree policy.

I would suggest a better approach is:

1) delete the copyrighted material.

2) ask someone who DOES have access to PGM materials to provide a referenced abstract of pertinent information.

Bruce, a referenced abstract that is included at the end of the biography under the heading "Research Notes" would be a nice addition to George Carr's profile.

But that would still leave the profile with only an abstract and not a biography.

Our goal in the Puritan Great Migration Project is to provide each PGM profile with a well-sourced biography that is not copied directly from another's printed work (not directly from Anderson).

Thus I believe Anne B made an excellent request, and I hope Doris, that you will "go for it."
