  Many, many thanks for posting this information.  I will continue to send addenda as I can.

  The birth date of my mother, Nellie Frances Lawson Spraker is 9/18/1917, not 1918.

  The parents of Elam Harrison are Jeremiah Harrison and Jean McLarty.  This information is confirmed in the will of Barbara (McNaught) McLarty, wife of Alexander McLarty and grandmother of Elam Harrison (whom she mentions as her grandson in her will--Mecklinburg Co.)
