I'm trying to find census record for Robert Selby Lawson born 7 Aug 1868 - 31 Oct 1046. He was supposedly born to a Wm Lawson and Nancy Elizabeth/Bettie Darby.

He was one of five: Wm, Robert Selby, Johnnie, Mary, and Joseph Wilson (1873-1919).

He was born in Mississippi, and lived in Tallahatchie County in the 1900 census.

His parents might have died or moved sometime between 1870-1880 as his potential brother Joseph Wilson Lawson was living with his uncle Samuel L. Darby in the 1880 census.

Any help would be appreciated! I have linked Roberts profile below.

There is a R LAWSON b abt 1868 in District 3, Panola Co., Mississippi with W F LAWSON  (b 1818 AL) and an Elizabeth LAWSON (b 1840 in MS) in 1870.  Elizabeth is 22 years younger than WF.  Could be a daughter or wife.

R LAWSON  is listed as White and WF and Elizabeth are listed as black.  This could be an error since they are in the same household
