Anyone have information on James Lincoln Williams b. 6/3/1863 in Georgetown Ill.?

James was my great grandfather. I am looking for any information about the Williams or Fields families from Kentucky/Indiana/Illinois. James was born in Georgetown Illinois and presumably grew up there. His father is said to have been of Irish/Cherokee descent from Kentucky. His mother was Ann Fields of Shelby County Indiana. I don't know where they were married. Have found several (too many) Williams and Fields families from Kentucky and Indiana. The first census record I have found for James in is 1900 in Kansas. He died in Texas in 1937. His death certificate only lists  mother and father as N/A. Any help would be appreciated.

James L.Williams married Martha Laws Aug26 1883.Morris Kansas.

There son Albert Marion Williams also was born Morris Kansas.
