My father was the only child of my grandmother's that had a different father. My grandmother passed away over two years ago, but would never provide me with any information about his birth father. Apparently, they were young when they had him and her mother raised my father and gave him their last name. The only info I know is that my grandfathers name was Robert Skinner. My father was born February 14, 1954 in Currituck North Carolina? His name was Douglas Basnight, his mother was Hildria Basnight(Wilson), and her parents were Victoria Humphries and Moses Basnight.
