Regula Schmid married Jacob Kuntz on February 12, 1879 in Eureka, Illinois. Both Regula & Jacob were born in Switzerland and moved to central Illinois before they were married in 1879. Regula is my great great grandmother and I am trying to research her parents. I do not have a first name for her mother and assume that Mathis is her mother's maiden name but do not know that for sure. I have information about Regula and Jacob's children & history from that point to current, but I cannot find information about Regula's parents. Since there is limited information about David Schmid, I don't know if there is a connection and that is why I'm trying to figure out approximately when he lived and if there could be a connection to my family.
