Where and how can I contribute a several-page biography of either a surname line or a single couple to WikiTree?

I have created multi-page "stories" of several surname lines (including Hadley, Wakefield, Finney) and also several couples in my line.  I would like to share these stories with the WikiTree community, but do not know how to do so.  All are in .pdf format, but could be provided in .docx format if desired.

Have you considered creating a free-space profile and adding your text there? The free-space profile (you probably would want one for each family) could be linked from profiles of individual family members. And you could attach the PDF to the free-space profile as an image.

I might recommend rather than a pdf to include the data directly on the page. It will have a nicer look, and can be viewed without downloading.
