Help w/ Merge please

Question

Please assist with the merge of Francis W. Harris,

Harris-22718 and

Harris-1308.

 Francis W. Harris was the son of Moses and Abigail Harris.  He married Lizzie Gould in 1884 and died at age 45.  An email was sent to the profile manager for Harris-1308 in 2016; another one today.  BTW, his death record notes his mother was Abigail Eaton -- so another "Unknown" can be identified, hooray!

Could someone help out?

Janine, I looked at the proposed merge, and see that you only proposed it today.  We always give a 30 day period for a PM to approve a merge.  At that time, if no action has been taken, it becomes available to merge.  It definitely is the same person . . .  as my grandmother always said, "Patience is a virtue."

As to his mother's maiden name, that is great that you have located it.  If you can provide a link/reference to the death record that shows her name, I can take care of fixing the last name at birth on her profile since it's been over a year since you contacted the PM with no response.

Whew! I've checked on the records for most of Abigail & Moses Harris's offspring, and then sourced Abigail's death record.   Please proceed with adding Abigail Harris's maiden name, "Eaton".  Her death record provided more information.

Abigail, the daughter of Job S. Eaton and his wife Sally Brown, both of Lowell, Massachusetts, was born in New Hampshire on  17 April 1821.  She died at age 93 and 4 months in Piermont, Grafton, New Hampshire.

Great work, Janine!  I have gone in and changed Abigail's LNAB (last name at birth) to Eaton.  If you have the information on her parents (besides their name, i.e. date & location of birth), you can add them as parents on her profile:  Eaton-5644
