Why can't I save these two profiles of husband and wife?

In frustration I have made edits to try to get the system to accept my researched facts. I have deleted some information and edited other information, but nothing seems to work. The error message says:

Error: Invalid data. The following must be corrected:

A marriage date (Cline-2493 married) cannot be interpreted. Please use YY-MM-DD, DD-mon-YY,or month-DD-YYYY.

If you are saving without changes consider an explanation in the text.

Actually, I can't save without changes. I can't change at all.

I have this problem with both profiles, both husband and wife. Also, to add to the frustration, I never gave a marriage date, so how can it say it (what I have not given) cannot be interpreted?

I had a similar situation when I was at the library last week. I finally had to login to WikiTree again and I lost all the information I had carefully researched.

I can't even show you the problem, or give a link, since I can't save my work.

Thanks for any help.

This is something rather recent (this marriage with an end date but no beginning date causing this problem).  When you go to save the profile after the edit and it won't save, click the [Edit Marriage to....] link which will open a new tab.  Add a date for the marriage, for instance if it says married ended in 1910 just add married before 1910 and save.  Then go back to the other tab and finish your edit.  That will allow you to save your work without having to delete anything.  Of course the actual date of the marriage isn't exactly spot-on but it gets the job done.
There is no end date, and there is no marriage date, as I have not been able to find one. There is nothing which makes sense about this at all.
The marriage end date was added from the profile of the husband (by you), maybe by mistake at the creation of the profile.
I did add an end date, and thought I remembered doing so until I went back and couldn't find it. The end date was the date of the husband's death. I finally found it by accident when I decided to try editing the spouse on the husband's profile. I had not added a marriage date since I could not find one. Now I know what problems it caused, but the error message sent me off on a wild chase.

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I'll go back to saving changes after every small edit. That way I will know immediately when there is a problem.

Try removing the marriage end date. That sometimes causes problems when trying to add a marriage date.

Thanks, Lynda Crackett, but there isn't a marriage end date.

I just had another idea, and I have opened both profiles by doing a google search and getting to them that way. Since I was unable to save the changes I had made, I now have them as they were yesterday. I will copy and paste, save, more copy and paste, save, etc. Has anyone tried this?
Actually there is. If you open the profile for Bertha and go into edit mode for her marriage to Elisha you will see marriage end date of 23 Nov 1960.
Thank you, Lynn Crackett. I appreciate your help. Your last comment showed up in my emails, and I replied by email. However, I don't see it here so I thought I should go ahead and comment. Maybe it will appear later.

Still, the error code I received makes no sense to me. I know I have a lot to learn about WikiTree, but I think I should not have to search around for so long to discover the problem.
Your comment is following mine so there does not seem to be any issue with G2G. As far as your problem is concerned, just remove the marriage end date and try again to make the changes you wanted to save. That should work. You can replace the marriage end date afterwards if you want to.
The email came back saying it had gone to the "no reply" box. I guess that didn't save time after all.
Best to just comment on the G2G thread unless you need to say something privately. This way anyone else trying to help you can also follow the conversation.
