Was Andrew Ray (Ireland)'s wife Margaret Black?

In trying to take one of our families name (first name) Smith (last name) Ray (1847-1925), we have his father as being an "Andrew Ray" born in Ireland. There is a suggestion within the family that Andrew's wife was a Mary or Margaret Black.             We know Smith Ray (184701925) married Lydia (nee Sloppy) Ray. However we're trying to connect Smith's father back to his GGF and GGF. Suggestions?Thank you, Adrienne Parks

I know of a Margaret Lane born 1920 who married a anthony G Black from New Jersey sometime in the 1930s but the Blacks I know laned in Pennsylvania from England then migrated to New Jersey. Margaret was from Indiana though.

My husbands aunt was a Margaret Black from Tippecanoe Lake, North Webster, IN. Margaret passed away in the early 1990's in her 90's but she was never married.

also found a number of references of Andrew Ray marrying Margaret A (Black Ray) but he was born in Ohio in 1816 not Ireland
