Need Help with Accomack co. VA Thornton

Question

I Just added son John Thornton to James Thornton, thornton-1705, they already have a John Thornton with different birth date and child.  My main source is 100’s of Families from the Eastern Shore, from Charlemagne to the early 1900’s free source at Virginia Library: http://espl-genealogy.org/MilesFiles/site/p505.htm#i50433. What do I do??? My added Thornton is thornton-5579.

I think I have your family line straight, they were just connected to the wrong generations.

I disconnected the Thornton-5579. Now I just need to go back with a Thornton.
