Always heard this was an accident but if you go on his profile I loaded another article of when the trial started in July but can't find any more info after this. Anyone have suggestions on where to look for a court case or searching Newspapers.com for more on the outcome of the trial? My uncle thought he heard that Talmadge skipped town for a few years before coming back after everything died down. An article I found for the trial has his name spelled Tallmadge.

I found there is apparently another newspaper article, "Home-Made Liquor Blamed," in the Biloxi Daily Herald Newspaper from Friday, April 17, 1925, page 2, that mentions this incident, and adds some details.
