Question regarding stickers, templates, and project boxes

Anyone who was born, married, or died in the Bahamas should have {{Bahamas}} above their ==Biography== heading in their profile.  This puts them in the Bahamas category and adds the Bahamas coat of arms and promotes that there is a Bahamas Project for profiles connected to the Bahamas.  Having them in the Bahamas category helps keep track of who in WikiTree has a Bahamas connection and also makes it much easier find common names in the Bahamas and helps avoid the creation of duplicates.

I'm uncertain if {{Bahamas}} is a template which creates a project box or if the way it is currently being used is more in line with a sticker?

Where can we see something like :  "This is an example of a project box and this is what it is used for (and should not be used for)" - same for stickers and templates (and similar terms). I've been to the help pages and it was not clear to me.

Thanks and sincerely, Peter

Templates are a special part of wiki markup. We use them on WikiTree to insert feature boxes on profiles.

The primary purpose of a Project Box is to identify a project-managed profile so that visitors can find out how to collaborate on the profile and related profiles. It goes on top of the ==Biography==

The purpose of a Profile Sticker is to highlight an important fact about a person or honor an important achievement.

Profile Stickers support and decorate the biography. They are not intended to serve a unique functional purpose.

Peter, don't you follow the leaders google group? There is a huge discussion on the subject. You should really check it out.

Answer was already given, but here you can see all the Project Box templates. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Database_Errors_Definition_Templates/Project_box

Aleš, Chris has requested that we move further discussion from Leaders to g2g.
