In my suggestion report I'm told I'm using an "out-of-date" template -- how do I find an up-to-date one?

This is how the out-of-date one begins.

Hello, Patricia!

Here is the link for information on Templates:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Templates.

You may need to do some digging to find the replacement template, if there is one!

{{Immigrant}} is in the list of current stickers (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Immigrant) , so not sure why it would be marked as out of date...

is there a reason you have it enclosed in <ref> </ref> ???  that throws the image down to the <references /> instead of displaying in the regular biography section.

that might be causing the error, Ales would probably be the person to answer that....

also, you have the wrong flag images

New Jersey is US_State_Flag_Images-34.png not Flags-34.png

Virginia is US_State_Flag_Images-49.png not Flags-49.png

dang. had a LONG post that I managed to lose. Short answer - Immigrant was a temporary template used as one of three to show what the new Stickers would look like. It was based on the Migrating Ancestor template, which was a Recognition Box. Both Recognition Boxes & User Boxes have now been reformatted to be Stickers, so Immigrant & Migrating Ancestor template are the same. You should be able to clear the error by changing  Immigrant to Migrating Ancestor but you'll also need to move the template (Recognition boxes went at the top of the profile but Stickers don't - they go in the text).

see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Migrating_Ancestor & https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Stickers

Cheers, Liz
