Am I the only one having this problem?

I just added a new person. I have tried searching for this person by his name and by the Profile Number. I can not find him. I was going to add his father.

You can check your watchlist, sorting by edit date, or check your contributions.

Yes, I don't know what I am doing wrong using the search tool, but it often omits what I am looking for but I don't understand why. I almost always look in my "Family Activity Feed" to see what I have done. Your seems to show duplicates of William Lemuel Peebles.

The system takes a short time to add new profiles to the search list - it depends on how busy it is, but I've seen it before. Add a profile, immediately do a search, and zip - nada - zilch. As others have pointed out, there are other ways, like your change log/contributions list, to find what you've recently added. And if you wait just a bit, the profile will come up in the search. Eventually.
