Should there be a sticker created for the Buffalo Soldiers who fought the Indian Wars?

It would be similar to the stickers for Spanish American War or Korean War. These soldiers were particularly known for their bravery and were vital to the westward expansion in the US. They fought Indians, built roads, escorted wagon trains and delivered mail. They also fought in the Spanish American War, WWI, and WWII before the military was integrated. They are part of the African-American History Project and part of the Military Project.

The reason I ask is this is from the Stickers Help Page:

Profile Stickers can only be created by WikiTree Leaders. They should not be created independently.

Also, the Veteran Recognition sticker has a limited number of insignias that are associated with it. Plus, it seems we are determining that the participation and accomplishments of the segregated African-American regiments known as the Buffalo Soldiers were somehow less important than participating in the Spanish American War or the Korean Conflict, etc. I don't want to see history repeat itself.

As far as the Veterans Recognition, other insignia can be requested on that page.

I am looking for further input on this subject.

** Full disclosure - I am coordinating the African-American Project here and am working hard on organizing and making plans and outlines before asking for the community's help.

A Sticker is created by leaders for use by the community.

Any Sticker can be added to any profile, provided they match what the Sticker covers.

Think of it as the government creates currency, and the people use it.

for {{Veteran Recognition}} any image can be passed to it

{{Veteran Recognition}} was created for use on any military event where a specific Sticker has not been created for it...  there are thousands of wars, we will not be creating thousands of stickers on a one for one basis.

Not having one specifically for Buffalo Soldiers is no more of a slight than not having one for any other unit, of which there are none.
