I wanted to share this family photo of Frank Carter with the community. Location: Kentucky. Date: Before 1921.

Peggy, I have Carter's in my tree and am always curious to see if they are related to me. I ran my mother's Gedmatch kit against yours, and we're related through the Osborne's and the Hash's for starters. We may share Carter as well. There's more investigating to do tomorrow. Your Frank Carter is a handsome man!

Frank Carter is my great grandfather.  He died in a coal mine accident in 1921.  I had never seen this picture of him.  My dad's cousin posted it on FB and I happened to run across it.  What a treasure!  I now have her daughter (who's my age) checking to see if there are other treasured photos at her mom's house!  My grandma's home burned ~1962 and she lost all of her family pictures, so any that  her siblings kids have are a blessing!
