Merge gone wrong. [closed]

Question

Cleaning up this Bios after a merge I noticed that this could be a merge that should not have taken place...

So before I grab my broom and cleaning stuff :-)

Please have a look at  Botha-1110

I Need some advise please. This was clearly not the same person if I look at the different birth and death dates given in the Bios.

Is it possible to undo a merge? If yes - please educate me.

I am not so sure that this is a merge gone wrong when I look at the change history.   The parents used to be the same on both profiles.   There had been a note that there were inconsistencies in the profile.   I would not create the "missing" child until you confirm that it was a real person.

Unfortunately merges cannot be reversed - one of the few things here that cannot.

I can understand the reason, and was kind of sure, but just could not find the help page for merges, and also was not sure If what I have been reading was correct, or that I was overlooking something.

You know that feeling one gets, but you have no proof  eeh?

When in doubt ask -  is my motto :-D  

On a lighter note

 I can see the picture.... I merge someone else "unmerge", It could keep folks busy for a while :-))
