Did not find them in the 1900 US Census either.
Do you mean Arkansas? AK is the abbreviation for Alaska, AR is the abbreviation for Arkansas. Just want to make sure I'm not looking for/in the wrong state.
AR Arkansas sorry

Martha Harris b MS 1871 in 1910 US Census in MS and 1880 US Census.

The census taker may have somehow overlooked the household in 1900.
That is not the same James Monroe Grimes. That James Grimes was born in 1874 in Indiana and died in Washington in 1949, His wife Clara died in Washington in 1942.

I have found them in 1910 census in Lee Richland Arkansas.  James has the four children with him.  He has a wife Mollie, they have been married one year.

I also found a notation that Martha Harris died about 1908 but no proof of that.  That would explain why James had the children and a new wife in 1910 on that census.

The census also shows that this was his second marriage, he was 63.  Mollie's first marriage, she was 39 and had no children of her own.

So are you saying that Dora and Martha are the same person?
I am simply showing you what is out there.  Was the woman named Martha Dorothy or Dorothy Martha?  I have no idea.  But it does call for more research because the Census record is clear.  I would look for additional records in that location and time period to see if you can confirm a name.
