Een andere mooie manier om te zoeken is de website van WieWasWie
Typ in zoekvenster Brouwer.
Oeps thought you re Dutch, translation:
Another great way to search for your Ancestors at the Netherlands is to use the WieWasWie's (WhoWasWho) website. It finds particularly the documents after the year 1811.
Type in the zoek/search box "Brouwer". All Brouwers will appear that are known at WieWasWie.
You can then refine your search options. In this case, choose Flevoland at Collection Area (collectiegebied) and you will get many Brouwers in Flevoland. : D Clicking at the top on the blue coloured PLAATS (village/city) all Brouwers of the same village or city will be put together.
Hmmmm as I m writing I m trying out things. Seems the option refine on Collection Area, doesn t work well at the English site.I can t choose Flevoland .:/ It is just not there as an option. Mabey I do something wrong. But I am afraid you have to search on the Dutch site. Well :D we are here!
Just try!
Transcription of the marriage Jan and Cornelia at WieWasWie here. Sometimes the original document is added to the transcription at WieWasWie. Unfortunately not at the marriage of Jan and Cornelia. To search for the real notes / deeds you have to search again via Zoekakten.nl, Flevoland, Urk and then marital status/burgelijke stand: marriages/trouwen. And then search in October 1885.
Sytze I do not know what you know about Urk. But Urk is a very unique and exceptional place in the Netherlands. Very strict on faith (Gereformeerd). And isolation and small population caused inbreeding. Famous for their costumes as well.
Urk was for ages an isolated, very small island in the former "Zuiderzee" or "Zuijderzee" (Sea) now IJsselmeer (Lake -since 1932) as you know the Dutch lol they build dykes and making lakes of sea or land out of seas or lakes.........or making lakes at land. They re crazy lol!
Urk was an island in the Zuidersea but became an island in a very big lake as the Dutch build the Afsluitdijk (afsluit=close), finnished in 1932. Then in 1939 there was a dyk build between Urk and the mainland. And in 1942 it became part of the Noordoostpolder......Urk was not an island anymore.
I think one of our great members of the Dutch_Roots Joop van Belzen......... has family around there. At least at the mainland as far as I can recall.
Well I think I provided you of a lot of info lol............ take your time! I don't want to spam you. I m just enthusiastic. :D
: D Go for it Sytze! (sorry not Sytzke).
