Andrew Alexander married Elizabeth Summers in 1807 and he has often been confused genealogically with my nth great uncle, Andrew Alexander [[Alexander-4885]] who married Elizabeth Mills Moores. I thought the Andrew Alexander born in Wayne County, Kentucky, was descended from Joseph Alexander from Massachusetts born there in 1750 (See
http://rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mafrankl/gen/alexander.htm), but that doesn't seem to be so as Joseph died in Massachusetts. He doesn't seem to be related to any other Alexanders in Kentucky at the time.
