No dates or information on Wife #2 or #3!

I have a 9 generation typed out list of 1749-1814 Deliverance Wheeler who married 1750-1832 Elizabeth Whitman. From that list, I have it as their grandson Samuel had three wives: Sophronia Rice Brown (1798-1890), Patty Thayer, and Susan Parsons.

With the exception of Sophronia Rice Brown, I have no dates on Patty Thayer or Susan Parsons. Does anyone have any hints or information on these women? I would like to flesh out their profiles as I work my way back through the branches of my family tree.

Thank you in advance!

Edited to list possible info:

  • Sophronia Wheeler married to Capt Samuel Wheeler but probably not my Samuel Wheeler
  • I found a Samuel Wheelock that is associated with Samuel (H.) Wheeler who married a Sophronia (Kemp) in 3 Nov 1836 Boston Mass. However, my "cousin list" indicates that her last names were Rice and Brown.. could this be a case of no children between spouses so they were able to divorce and marry other people in order to bear children? Or is this just a messed up family tree I found? How reliable is Ancestry.com stuff anyhow? This is the link to the Samuel (H) Wheeler's family tree where the vital records are attached. I am using my public library's Ancestry Library edition so WT members will need to have a paid account or view this on their public library's edition.

Sophronia needs reliable sourcing too.

Documentation.  List from a cousin is not a SOURCE

That's what I curiously linked to as far as Sophronia. It was a common enough name in those days that I've ran across a few in the same area.  I'm not that great of a detective yet. Plus I have linked up numerous names in with the Wheeler history book.. The genealogical and encyclopedic history of the Wheeler family in America: Page 1, Issue 594

(Edited to say) Starting with page 14.. but it's incomplete as it was published in 1914. My branch line comes from Samuel's third wife, Susan Parsons.. which I had found at one time her parents and possibly dates of birth and death but my ADHD brain forgot to write down where I found the source.

Thanks Doug! I had that info at one time but had forgotten about it.. good to have it linked up here again.

I'm actually more curious about the Sophronia Rice Brown and Patty Thayer lines since I know where the Susan Parsons lineage ended up.

So, its possible that Patty Thayer was the daughter of  Thaddeus Thayer and Rhoba Smith.  I don't have great sources though.  This is coming from The Memorial of the Thayer Name, which isn't entirely reliable.  In the initial listing of the family she's listed as Polly, and then later in her own entry she's listed as Patty.  The family lived in Dummerston, VT. Its also entirely possible that Patty isn't their daughter.  Although looking at the 1850 Census, looks like he had a son Thaddeus which sounds promising.
