Is there a way to see the side branches of a tree?

While searching for my ancestors,  I have been finding brothers and sisters.  Is there a way to see all the side branches of the tree.

In my tree,  3 Munson brothers married 3 O'Connor sisters.

O'Connor 2628, Nellie married both Charles Munson Munson-2871 and Martin Munson Munson-2873  who had been married to O'Connor-2651

I am sure this was for the convenience of widowed inlaws with many children.

Thank you in advance,

Jamie

I agree. It would be such a huge benefit to be able to have a dynamic tree that goes all directions, not just up and down. This is a feature I love in Family Search and Geni's websites.

This is not a specialized tool for what you are asking for, but you can see the Munson-O'Connor marriages in the descendant list for grandpa Munson https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Munson-Descendants-2872 - and you can compare it with the descendant list of grandpa O'Connor https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/O'Connor-Descendants-2630 - and see that indeed, they are all there as well

Maybe...

  1. Munson-2873
    1. Has family group sheet
    2. Decendents of father ==> Munson-Descendants-2872

Another option is export a GEDCOM and import it in another tool

If you use Aleš Project Database tool it works based on Generations but he mostly shows just profiles with "problem/error"

  1. Error report Munson-2873
  2. Some other reports can be created at http://wikitree.sdms.si/
