Anyone heard if a William John Cumins/Cummings B. in Saltfleet Twp. Ontairo 1837?

Question

Father of William said to be Elias or M. Cumins of Vermont "area".

Mother said to be Mary or Lenas Fielder of England.

5 branches of cousins at loss after many accumulated yrs. of research for both of the above names.

William John came to Michigan 1865 after marrying Mary Jane Tomblin in 1864.

We are aware of Stoney Creek, now being what was called Saltfleet on his wedding certificate and all census's.

"Only" looking for William John in Ontario "before" 1864" in hopes of leads to his family, parents aka our roots.

Our 5 branches of cousins have wore out the search w/ALL being answered "here" in Michigan from 1865 on.
