    This is George WIlliam Crawford. Not the right one.

    Out of left field but maybe what you're looking for. Dunno. I don't think Bradford was Permelia's maiden name. There are numerous citations for a Permelia's Massey, the daughter of Laban Massey marrying George Crawford. The Massey and Crawford families lived in the same region in South Carolina and both fsmilies went to Alabama.

    There was a land dispute that wound up in a Congressional hearing involving the Crawford's and Massey's.

    There is a Wikitree for Laban Massey that only has one son listed. He had nine children who survived to adulthood.

    Still digging for clues. ;-}

    OK on this one here what do I need to do change some names?
