Please remind me: how handle open orphaned profiles of living people?

Whether I'm working on my favorite db_error 902 or searching for matches, I'm drawn to finding dates for empty-dated profiles. In the process, I frequently encounter orphaned  open profiles that are probably living people. Like this one and the children attached. I googled one of the children and found a 2014 reference.

How should we deal with these?

In this instance the person who uploaded the data originally seems to be still very active and may be able to help? Sorry I don't know what the general advice is.

I think you are correct. I adopted one of the profiles just to see who the father is. The father has a private profile, but I googled the name, and he just passed away in 2016 (Nathaniel Sims Rogers). His obit is online naming his living relatives. I believe that all of the living children/grandchildren are orphaned and were added via GEDCom.
