Question

Hello, my name is Norma Maloney (nee Yuile)

I am asking for help from anyone who can assist me, I have confirmed some of my past relatives but can only add them when I am allowed too.

Others I have their names, but no proper details.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Norma!

We'll need some clues as to where you want to start so that we can assist. The easiest way is to add family to your account, so that we can begin to help you build your tree.

If you want specific help with a specific relative, please let us know where to focus our efforts. For example, if you would like for us to find relatives of your father, please list your father's name, place of birth, date of birth, date of death, place of death, wife's names (if there are more than one), and so on.

You'd be amazed at how much information can be found once we know what to look for.

Hello Scott, I already have a lot of my relations, but I cannot add them as I am waiting for confirmation from WikiTree as it says I must get confirmed before I can add. How long that takes I do not have any idea.

I have birth Certificates, Death Certificates and marriage certificates of a few of my relations.

My father was a second cousin to my mother. Alexander McLachlan Yuile, His father Robert Yuile, his mother Anne Yuile nee Callan

My mother was Margaret Brawley Yuile, My mothers father was James Yuile, he was killed when my mom was 11,her mother Mary Wallace Nee Brawley

Robert Yuile's, Father, James Yuile, his mother Mary Yuile nee Smith.

Anne Yuile's nee Callan, Father Peter Callen, Mother Elizabeth Callen nee McKinnon

I have so many James Yuile's in my tree, between grandfathers, uncles etc.

Confirmation can take a few days, as someone reads the email and performs the confirmation (from another team - I'm not one of them).

Nanette, thank you, It is quite fascinating to read all the reactions, Hopefully I can find what I am stuck with. I have searched and searched but their are so many with the same names, but to find the ones I want when I have no birth or death date is practically impossible.
