the subscription website Rootsireland.ie has only one registration for a John Anderson listed as being baptised on the 16th July 1831 in Donegal town, parents  John and Jane Anderson.

There is also a marriage registration for a John Anderson who married a Winifred McCann on 21st April 1853 in Killygordon co Donegal, there is no record for a Unity McCann

Thanks Annemarie Winifred is another version of Unity and thanks for that wedding date as I was unaware of it. Where did you find the marriage details? Have you the location of it so that I can copy and substantiate it Annemarie?

How accurate are the date of births? I have a Sarah Anderson born March 9, 1868, Rose Anderson born in 1867,a brother who I think is  John Anderson born March 19, 1872 and a sister.  They are from Donegal and their parents are John Anderson and Winifred McCann.
