A handsome man in his bib overalls and the phone looks rather new. I do not see a dial on the phone but I could be wrong here. the commonly known dialer with holes was not used until 1904. The smaller telephone companies used them but were not introduced by Bell until 1919.I imagine that the picture was taken sometimes between 1904 and 1919. I cant be positive now but that would be my best guess. Thanks for sharing the family and phone with us.

Wonderful photo can se the phone was there he look like he are talking with a nice person looking at his nice smile. Great to see the gorgeous old phone he re holding, thinking about Mobil phone today we are certainly come a long way.

yes we have come a long way with the telephone. Amazing huh? But I would love to give a phone like this a try.
