how do i see connections im stuck and cant create a profile for my grandfather ...

I'm direct descent of Edward T Garrett 11 born Aug 1733 in new Kent Virginia... I try adding on my tree but it says the profile exists but I can't add or merge it on my tree...I try viewing connections to ppl but it says I have none ..so I don't know how to continue my tree or find family connections

The problem may be the privacy level on your maternal grandmother's profile. Lower the privacy level for her profile to see if that helps.

You can also use the Relationship to Me link in the drop-down menu under your WikiTree ID to verify your connection.
