Kathy fixed the last one. Here is the next in line from a month ago. Thanks in advance
This is the gist from prior post and discussion, Its time to do correction on parent for Curwen-26
"I propose a change that makes Curwen-95 the parent of Curwen-26. There is no mother
The current parent is Workington-3 and on that page toward bottom of the bio I explain the Alan Curwen Error: Alan Curwen-26 is not a brother of Curwen-95, he should be the son.
essentially no complications to descendants with this generation change. Both Curwen-95 and Curwen-26 do not have any known spouse, so all the other parentage stays intact. John Burke source iinserted an error, although others may be a party. there are reasonable sources in agreement that support my proposal.""
Specifically, because Patrick Curwen has no listed spouse, his son Alan will have no mother listed. all of Alan Curwen descendants remain.
Marty Acks very humbly spoke up about possibly being responsible, when cleaning up. It was back in summer of 2015. One set of profiles did have the correct relationship but there was another incorrect version, and that is what stuck on the survivors.
Special thanks to Andrew last week who also posted a sourcing site. Among numerous interesting very early citations were some about Thomas of Workington and heirs. Patrick was referred to as "younger son" (clearly there were only 2 not 3). Thomas who was older than Patrick was described in one charter, witnessed as Thomas son and heir. at the fathers death (son Thomas had died earlier), Patrick and daughter Ada were co-heirs. Alan received his gifts from his father Patrick.
I will work on re write, on bio and Sources
