Her training plane was one of the two seat stewards for training pilots during that time. The Ryan ST had several military versions for Army Air Corp use.

This photo definitely can be shared!  Jewell (Watts) Shepard was my mother (Nova Ruth (Watts) Davis)'s sister.  To all who liked the photo, thank you, and to all who thanked me for sharing you are very welcome!  Jewell met her future husband while in the service.  Jewell was a very beautiful and gutsy woman!
