Thanks ales for posting this message. I'm thankful for the data errors project for helping me find errors in my own tree. Thanks for letting me join this great endeavor.
I would like the Data doctor badge.
Awarded.
It is great to see so many people willing to help!  Ales does a fantastic job of trying to help us find things that need to be fixed in profiles making our trees and that of the entire network stronger and more correct.  Thank you Ales for posting this!  It is nice to see how people are willing to help!  This made my day!
I tried to follow the instructions to 'ANSWER' and was told that my submission was a duplicate. Do not remember trying to join before and since I do not have the badge, I do not know what happened.  Any Info?
Al, I awarded you the badge.
Please award me the badge. I can't get the tag to post on my profile page.

Awarded. You should also follow DB_Errors tag, to be notified of the changes. You can do it here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following.

I'm not ready to be a Data Doctor yet but I wanted to thank you for providing the error reports. They have really helped me prioritize the cleanup from my GEDCOM import and given me good ideas on how to improve my next one. It will be really helpful in keeping the profiles I manage clean. When I've learned a bit more about what kinds of things generate the errors and how to fix them, I'll join.
Dear Aleŝ,

thanks for your "repair machine" here!
I'd love to help!
E, Awarded.
Id be willing to help, if u still need people.

Would like to get the badge. Just finished correcting my errors yesterday. So ready to help.
Nevermind, lol already been awarded. Thought my comment earlier didn't go through. Thank you
I've been spending so much time cleaning errors I really ought to get myself a database doctor badge.

Totally loving the country specific error lists by the way.

I would like the Data Doctor Badge, also
We don't award badges to new users. I think you need at least one month of experience on wikitree, so you learn basic things, before you start changing other people's profiles. So please ask again in one month. In the meantime you can correct errors connected to your tree and get to know the site.

Aleš.
Do we need a "Comment Suggestion" when selecting "Not fixed" when the date difference is due only to old-style vs. new style dates? I realize that is region-specific, so maybe something more general?

Its' probably to much to ask that these "errors" not appear in the first place, i.e. if the only difference is exactly 1 year, and the month is 1-3?

Sure, throw me a badge.
Should the error status page contain any "categories to consider"?

E.g. [[Category: Estimated Dates]], [[Category: Needs Research]] ...

Dana, Awarded.

"Not fixed" is used only if the error was previously marked false error. This questions shouldn't be asked in this thread. It is to award badges only. Ask a new question and tag it DB_Errors.

I would like to be a Data Doctor. I would like the Data Doctor badge. Thanks!
Awarded. I also invited you to google group.
Gee! If everyone becomes a Doctor, What will we do for patients? And they say that Doctors make the worse patients.:)

'Doc Jon P, Data Doc'
I would like to be a data doctor with badge and all. It seems to me the easiest way to understand and correct one's mistakes.

I would like to be a Data Doctor. I would like the Data Doctor badge. Thank You in advance.....
Hi,

I would like to help with the data doctors. I've just moved over here to collaborate with more people after being on my heritage for a  while
I am greatful for the suggestion box drop down it is teaching me to do a better job on the profiles. I am excited to do more correction, thanks for allowing me to join Data Doctors.
I would like the Data Doctor Badge. Thank You for the Suggestion Drop down box, it has helped me to do a better profile.

Valerie, Awarded. I also invited you to google group.

Christine, With 22 edits, you can't get the data doctor badge. Correcting errors means correcting profiles in collaboration with other Wikitreeers and you need some more expirience for that. Ask again after you learn more about WikiTree.
Thanks for allowing me to work on this project, again I am learning daily new things. Appreciated!
I would like to receive the Data Doctor Badge. I have been trying to clean up my tree.

Ales,

I have already been working with Eva for several months on the 911/912 problems. If you think it is better that I have a badge, then so be it.

Thanks for all your great work.

I'm new here, so I'm sure I have made a lot of db errors. Hopefully I'll get mine and some others fixed. I'd like to join too.

I found that I created a great many database errors too and am starting to clean up my own tree. In the process, I have cleaned a lot of other profiles, and come across some I am not sure how I ended up managing!

Hi, You still have a Guest status. I think you should first make your own tree to get to know things on WikiTree. Just follow the advices you get from Greaters and Mentors.

After that (I guess a month), ask for the badge again.

Thanks for posting this, Aleš. I like fixing errors. Don't know why I never asked for the badge yet.
by Isabelle Martin G2G6 Pilot (578k points)
Awarded. You don't really need it to correct errors. The only difference is you can post more than 20 messages per day.

by Nicole Freitag G2G1 (1.1k points)

Hi, You are using WikiTree for only one week. I think you should first get to know things on WikiTree in detail. Just follow the advices you get from Greaters and Mentors.

After that (I guess a month), ask for the badge again.

You can correct errors also without the badge.

You should also follow db_Errors tag to be informed of the project changes.

I find the data base error report and program an excellent way to assist in correcting my tree, profiles and connections.  I look forward for Tuesday mornings, as it points out areas needed for added research and profile cleaning.  I try to reference the db error number during edits while working through problems generated from this report.  I would be proud to have this badge, as I am already using this report for myself and to help others.  Your efforts are greatly appreciated and upgrading the quality of the WikiTree.
