How to list royal titles?

What is the correct field to use for royal titles such as "3rd Earl of Countryname" that will not trigger a database error?  Does it belong as a nickname?  Error 734 Wrong word in Preferred Name has a number of these, and I'm not sure how to properly resolve.  Thanks!
