we need a resource to help people who cannot afford tests to confirm DNA

For money to help people who cannot afford #ydna test is the problem. Perhaps a go fund me page on the subject! Perhaps a round robin system or lottery.

thanks for looking!

Surname projects on FTDNA have a general fund that can be used to buy kits and upgrades on behalf of others that cannot afford them.

Yeah but depends on what the manager decides is the best place to upgrade things. I tried doing a go fund me.. didn't work. :(

Yes that might be something that you can arrange with your family members and friends for your own individual testing. Forgive me for being a cynic but unless you have a registration process of some kind and you ordered the test for people. There be no guarantee the funds would be used for that process. Beyond that it sounds like a-lot of headache but if you feel you can do that Best of luck.

Well my family doesn't need it, you buy them a test they take it and send it in. They get no funds! really not that hard at all :)

you would gift them a free test at some ydna place? I have seen people on this site who couldn't do a test, other people needed them to do?

its your universal family tree you know!
