Sir Thomas Conyers to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

I had noticed this a while ago, that the Duchess of Cambridge and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother were related with the common ancestor William Blakiston. For you fans of English social history they are pretty amazing examples of the way families rise and fall through the class system. Sir Thomas's 4th cousin Mary Eleanor Bowes (the ancestor of the Queen Mother) was the richest woman in England when she died, and Sir Thomas was notably poor - despite his title he inherited no property and lived much of his life in the workhouse and died a pauper.

I almost connected them but I ran into a roadblock so I was hoping a leader or arborist can help manage this last piece of the puzzle. Catherine's grandmother Dorothy Harrison needs to be connected to her husband Ronald Goldsmith, who is locked and her daughter Carole Elizabeth Goldsmith are both locked. Also, Catherine's parents Carole Goldsmith and Michael Middleton are not set as married. There's also few of merges that need to happen - the privacy of these people makes it difficult for me to identify them and I put notes on the pages but I'm not optimistic this will happen without a little prodding (one merge has been pending for 2 years...)

Here's the line from Sir Thomas Conyers to Catherine Middleton; the ones in bold I created and then removed myself as a profile manager as I suspect they are someone else's family, and I have no idea what project these would be in (they are not aristocrats!) - feel free to edit them. Italics are people I didn't bother creating. Asterisk means they need to be connected. Thanks!

I think it's the privacy that stops marriages being shown, they aren't necessarily missing.

Can't see the point of privacy when the managers aren't relatives.
Right - that's why I thought someone else could look into this who could see through the veil.
I think you have to be on the TL.
I'm waiting to be added to the list...
