I am Sharon Goeglein My gr.father thrice removed was Judge Thomas Van Swearingen. Just curious to know if there are others related? He use to visit President Lincoln and listen to him play the flute ( I think it was)

There were Van Sweringen brothers who developed Shaker Heights, Ohio early in the last century. The surname spelling is at variance with the Van Swearingens in your question, but the Wikipedia article about the Van Sweringen brothers may be of interest.

The best way to find out if there are others here related to the Judge and to you is to enter more information to your family tree.
