Can't adopt profile that got auto-set to private [closed]

Question

So I added a birthdate (in 1919) to an orphaned, open profile, and the system decided that the person must still be living (which is, strictly speaking, possible) and set the profile to private. Now I can't edit it, or even adopt it to edit it. Help!

a good habit to get into, is to adopt the orphaned profile before making any changes to it -- you can then un-adpot it afterwards.
