Hmm...I believe that is called Murder.  WikiTree does not support such a function.  <<smile>>

Thank you everybody.  I didn't need to murder Mary as she has been dead for over 200 years I think.  I have no idea why she showed as living in the first place, Wikitree even e-mailed her to ask her something, OMG I don't think that I've quite got the hang of this, though I mean well////
PS I think (hope) it's OK now.....
The dead coming to life..., murdering the dead....  Sounds like vampires to me!
Only a genealogist could ask a question like that without being arrested and tried for murder... ;)

You go to edit their profile and add a death date, then at the bottom of the death date change the button option from 'still living' to either; 'about/uncertain but non-living', 'exact/certain', 'before this date', or 'after this date.'

You may want to change the privacy setting also.  It will remain red (private) unless you reset it.
Great point Carolyn! Forgetting that part may cause problems later.
