My Great-great-great grandmother, Geniath Tinnia Jones, was born in Arkansas in 1881... I have almost no info on her and her family other than what her granddaughter has, and it's nothing more than a few names (I don't even know if the spelling of Geniaths name is right), dates, and locations. She is supposedly either part or full Native American, although I'm realistic and know that's just speculation in part... honestly from the one picture of her she looks like she SOMETHING other than just European. Her fathers name was James R. Jones, mother Mary E. Jones, I have no dates or birth (I think they were not born in Arkansas), or maiden names for Mary ...just that Geniath was born in Saint Francis, Arkansas, married Thomas Rayburn Tackett, moved to a Texas, and died at a young age in DeKalb Texas in 1916.
She and Thomas had a daughter, Forrest Mae Henderson (Tackett), and that's the only child of theirs I know of... he remarried and had more children.
If anyone knows how to find info or has info on the Tacketts/Jones line in Arkansas in the 1880's, I would appreciate the help.
