what to do when Profile manager does not respond to request to be a Trusted person.

Question

Deans-7 profile manager has not responded in months to my request to be Trusted person so as to merge my family with his through Deans-7. i cannot even add Deans-7 to my family. I have messaged many times. I actually personally know the Profile manager and have privately emailed him. I am guessing he or his wife are ill as he is not responding to anything at all.

I clicked on the profile in your question and realized this profile represents someone born more than 200 years ago.  So I've requested that the profile be set to open and when that happens you'll be able to make that connection.  It could take until Monday or so depending on how quick someone gets the message and opens the profile.  Good luck!

Many thanks Vincent. I have found it very frustrating and it quite put me off wikitree for awhile. Not that I have much time anyway (in many ways including that I will be 80 years old in a few months!!) but.... glad I was finally able to find a way to make something happen. Alison
