How to correctly enter several first names when the middle one is the proper name?e

I just can't find a way to enter several first & middle names in such a manner that the system would show the name corrcetly.

E.g. Rutger Markus Olavi.
The name should be shown as 'Markus', with no initials, and 'Rutger Markus Olavi'.
Name currently correct in the tree form (Rutger Markus Olavi), but other currently displayed forms 'Rutger Markus Olavi (Markus)' and 'Markus M.' are incorrect forms.

Other results have been e.g.  'Markus Rutger Olavi' and 'Markus 'R.' depending on the use of Proper Name and Preferred Name. But I just can't seem to find the corrcet combination.

The approach that often works best with WikiTree's name display is to treat the preferred name as part of the first name. In this case, that would mean that you put Rutger Markus in the First Name data field, Markus in the Preferred Name field, and Olavi in the Middle Name field.

Kurt:  Those pesky triple (and more named people).  I have some in my family, also.

Personally, if Rutger Markus Olavi is the proper name, I would add Rutger to the proper first name, Markus Olavi to the Middle name just separated by a space and Markus to the preferred name.  You should then get Markus Ristniemi with his names in the proper fields for searches, etc.
