Unresponsive Profile Manager

Yesterday, I sent the following email to a Wikitree Member:

Dear Name Omitted:

You have made no contributions to Wikitree in over 60 days.  For this reason and my desire to accurately source members of my family, I have submitted a large number of Trusted List requests to you.  You have not responded and the required 7 days has transpired since I submitted at best guess 30-60 requests involving Barnes and Oxford Wikitree profiles with whom I have a DNA connection.  On 12/3/16, I began sourcing some of these profiles and removing the Category: Unsourced Profile designation.   With this email, I am completing step two of the three step process to request that you be designated an Unresponsive Profile Manager and removed you as profile manager of the referenced profiles.  Tomorrow I will complete the final step three and post a message on your profile if you have taken no action.

Now on a more conciliatory note.  If you have changed your modus operandi, and are interested in sourcing profiles rather than proliferating them unsourced with abandon, I will send you part of a collection of 87 MB’s of PDF files.  These files   source every Oxford ancestor born in America since 1652.  All Oxford’s in America descent from one immigrant John (Oxford-205).  My sole interest in genealogy is documenting our legacy as accurately as possible.  My time is limited.  If you chose not to help, I will continue the job of sourcing realizing that Rome was not built in a day and I will contribute what I can while looking back on my efforts with pride.

If you would like to review Wikitree policy on the process that I have outlined above, click on the link below

I hope to hear from you rather than your remaining silent.

 Godspeed and Happy Tree Climbing,

 Hugh

Today, I posted the following the comment section of her profile:Hi Name Omitted:

This comment is being posted to your profile in accordance with Wikitree policy concerning failure to reply to my request to be added to the Trusted List of a large number of Barnes and Oxford profiles for which I have a DNA connection. That policy may be found by clicking on the link below:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unresponsive_Profile_Managers

This post is step three as outlined in the above link.  Based on your actions, I will be complying with the remaining steps outlined in Wikitree policy.

In less that five minutes the comment was deleted.  This of course end Unresponsive Profile Manager action because a contribution was earned but it clearly indicates that the guilty party only wants to play childish games.  What recourse does the group recommend that I follow.

Mm. If such a comment appeared on my profile, I'd probably delete it, too. There are far more diplomatic ways to communicate with inactive PMs.
FORGIVE ME MS. SMITH, YOU ARE RIGHT. I am just a Carolina country boy who having grown up under extreme hardship placed looking out for number one ahead of good manners.  I will try to do better in the future.

You can still go ahead and file an Unresponsive Manager form.  Just because somebody deleted your comment does not terminate the process.
